Getting Started

Welcome to Flow Assist!

Setting Up

Before you jump into Flow Assist, there are a few things you need to do.

  1. Authenticate Salesforce

  2. Explore and Wait

  1. Authenticate Salesforce

Authenticating Flow Assist to Salesforce is easy.
In the home page, find the card with the the title 'Add a New Org.'

It should look something like this:

Production: Production Orgs and Developer Orgs
Sandbox: Sandbox Orgs

Next: Allow Access to Flow Assist

We ask for the following permissions:

  • Access the identity URL service:

    • That's what we're in right now!

  • Manage user data via APIs. Some notes:

    • These are Salesforce Users, not leads or contacts

    • We need this to see your fields, objects and flows

  • Perform requests at any time:

    • Flow Assist works while you sleep. We're constantly capturing changes to your org, this just lets us do that

Click 'Allow'

Your org should appear in the home page.

  1. Explore and Wait

We're now running some things in the background. If you click into Objects, it will likely be empty. It'll take some time, but our Object and Field usage tables are worth the wait.

In the meantime, you can take a look at your Flows, Active will show you the Active version, Latest will show the Latest version. Load times might be a little slow, as we're pulling from the API directly during this stage.
